Ashton Kutcher joins Two And A Half Men

Replacing Charlie Sheen

Ashton Kutcher is to replace Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men.

It is not known how much Mr Demi Moore will be paid under the new deal, but Sheen was on a reported $2million an episode before he was quit amid his much-publicised personal problems,

In a statement, the former Punk’d star said: ‘I can't wait to get to work with this ridiculously talented 2.5 team and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers' homes.

‘I can't replace Charlie Sheen but I'm going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people!’

Nina Tassler, the head of entertainment at US network CBS, said: ‘Ashton is a pop culture triple threat - film star, cutting-edge producer and a social media pioneer. He brings creativity, energy and personality to everything he touches. We are thrilled to have him.’
