Bishop's (non) move

John stays top of DVD chart

John Bishop has topped the stand-up DVD chart for the third week running.

His Elvis Has Left The Building show has remained static at No 8 in the overall top 40 in this crucial pre-Christmas period.

There is very little change in the top five, with Kevin Bridges still at No 2.

Up to 50 stand-up titles have been released over November, and because of the relatively low production costs the spoils can be big for those comics with best-sellers.

This week’s chart is – with last week’s positions in brackets –

  1. (1) John Bishop: Elvis Has Left The Building
  2. (2) Kevin Bridges: The Story So Far Live
  3. (4) Frankie Boyle: If I Could Reach Out Through Your TV and Strangle You I Would
  4. (3) Billy Connolly: Live In London 2010
  5. (5) Ricky Gervais Live IV: Science

Also selling strongly are Bill Bailey, Rhod Gilbert, Dara O Briain and Lee Mack.
