Singer drops out of chat show

Alan Carr has railed against Lily Allen after she dropped out of his chat show with just two hours' notice.

He reportedly told the studio audience of his Chatty Man show that the Smile singer was a ‘fucking bitch’ for leaving him in the lurch for the second time.

She called off sick, despite telling fans she was looking forward to appearing on the Channel 4 show, fuelling tabloid speculation that she is pregnant.

But Carr told his audience: ‘I heard at four o'clock this afternoon that Lily Allen's pulled out, so that's the second time she's pulled out on the day with two hours to go.’

Though it’s not clear how tongue-in-cheek his comments were, he is said to have added: ‘I don't know what's wrong with that fucking bitch. I don't know if it's a vendetta, I don't know whether she hates me or it's because I'm gay, but the way I'm buzzing now I could fucking slap her.’
