Curb's back!

Larry David confirms series 8

Larry David has announced that Curb Your Enthusiasm will return for an eighth season.

Production will start on ten new episodes in Los Angeles thus summer, ready for broadcast next year.

David said: ‘After much soul searching - and by the way, it was nowhere to be found - I have decided to do another season of Curb,’ said David. ‘I look forward to the end of shooting, when I can once again resume the hunt for my elusive soul. I know it's here somewhere or perhaps in the rugged mountainous regions of Pakistan.’

Broadcaster HBO has always said it was happy to air Curb as long as David wanted to make them

Last month, David revealed that he had asked Ricky Gervais to appear in the next season, even though the new episodes were not officially announced until today. ‘I think Ricky Gervais is one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met,’ he said at the time.
