The line-up for ITV1’s Comedy Rocks with Jason Manford has been announced – and it includes Joe Pasquale.

The high-pitched comic will be joined by John Bishop, Jo Brand and ventriloquist Paul Zerdin on the prime-time show.

The programme will also include live music performances by Pixie Lott and Scouting for Girls.

A pilot is being recorded in London on March 25, to go out the following night, to allow for topical material.

Manford sad: ‘I'm really looking forward to being part of this variety event on ITV - music and comedy and a look back over the week, perfect for a Friday night, hopefully there’ll be something for everyone.’

Elaine Bedell, ITV’s director of entertainment and comedy added: ‘Jason is the perfect host for a show that celebrates that kind of entertainment variety.’
