McIntyre's still No 1

DVD outsells all other comedians

Michael McIntyre’s DVD has slipped down to No 5 in the charts – but remains Britain’s bestselling stand-up title.

Lee Evans’s compilation Access All Arenas remains the second biggest live comedy title, but is down eight places to No 18 in the overall charts.

Eddie Izzard’s Stripped show is the highest new entry as far as comedians go, in at No 27 in the Top 40 and third in the stand-up list.

And Rhod Gilbert And The Award-Winning Mince Pie is 29th overall and fourth for live comedy, in the charts compiled by the Official UK Charts Company.

Meanwhile, the single put together by Peter Kay for Children in Need has topped the singles chart.

The Official BBC Children in Need Medley by Peter Kay’s Animated All Stars beat another charity release, You Are Not Alone by the X Factor finalists, to the top spot.

It has sold around 140,000 copies.
