Katy Brand is to embark on her first theatre tour.

She will be taking the characters from her ITV2 show Katy Brand's Big Ass Show on 34-date tour next spring.

It will be the first time Brand has performed her own show since 2005’s Celebrities Are Gods, which was performed in a tiny Edinburgh Fringe venue.

Now – after being named best female newcomer in last year’s British Comedy Awards – she will be taking on theatres such as the 1,800-seater New Theatre in Oxford or 1,400-seater Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham.

The tour starts in Brighton on April 18, ending in Southampton on June 6. Click here for the full schedule.
