Dave TV’s comedy panel show Argumental is to move to BBC Two.

It is the first time the digital broadcaster – which traditionally relies on old BBC shows to fill its schedules – has moved the other way.

Four episodes of the second series, hosted by John Sergeant and featuring Marcus Brigstocke and Rufus Hound as team captains, will air on BBC Two later this year.

The news comes as Dave owner UKTV has commissioned a third series, 13-part series of Argumental,

UKTV controller Matthew Littleford said: ‘We will now be focusing our energies on investing in developing innovative formats for Dave that revolve around the stand-up genre.’
