...in a movie with Martin Freeman

Angus Deayton has landed a role in a new romantic comedy movie, starring The Office’s Martin Freeman.

Swinging With The Finkels, which is being shot in Britain this month, also stars Hollywood comedy veteran Jerry Stiller – father of Ben and star of Zoolander – and British-Asian stand-up Paul Chowdhry.

The film, written and directed by Jonathan Newman, began life as a short film on the internet, before being developed by Bend It Like Beckham producer Deepak Nayar.

Freeman and Mandy Moore – who starred together in 2007 movie Dedication – play husband and wife who decide to spice up their love life by getting into swinging.

The film is being shot on location in Cambridge and London.
