Alistair McGowan announces tour

His first in ten years

Alistair McGowan is to embark on his first solo stand-up tour in ten years.

He will launch his one-man show – The One And Many – at the Edinburgh Fringe, following up his month-long run at the Assembly Rooms with a 40-date tour.

As well as impersonations, the show promises ‘observations, poetry and romance, animals and surrealism, love and anger, wordplay and greenery’.

McGowan will also be performing an hour of Noel Coward songs and poems at Edinburgh’s Assembly Rooms with co-star Charlotte Page.

In December, he will release a new book, co-written with Ronni Ancona, entitled A Matter of Life and Death (or ‘How to Wean Your Man Off Football, while in October a play he wrote – Heavy Pencil –will be premiere at The King’s Head in Islington.
