Skinner makes Question Time debut

Comic on tonight's panel

Frank Skinner is to make his debut appearance on BBC One's Question Time tonight.

His place on the panel of politicians follows a film he made for Panorama about offensive comedy, and an appearance on the BBC Two political programme This Week, when he called for higher taxes for top earners.

In that show – Skinner said: ‘Every year when I do my tax returns, I say to my accountant: If you earn a lot of money, you should pay a lot of tax.’

Skinner said he was ‘very much looking forward’ to appearing on tonight’s show alongside guests including Environment Minister Hilary Benn and Shadow Health Secretary Andrew Lansley.
