Sketch show and stand-ups shortlisted

A host of comedy stars have been nominated for children’s Bafta awards.

Sketch show Sorry I’ve Got No Head, which stars an array of comedy circuit favourites has been shortlisted for best entertainment programme alongside Basil’s Swap Shop, Hedz and art show Smart, which is co-hosted by stand-up Kirsten O’Brien.

The cast of the CBBC comedy show includes Marcus Brigstocke, Marek Larwood, Anna Crilly, David Armand, Justin Edwards, Mel Giedroyc, Nick Mohammed, Mark Evans, Will Andrews and James Bachman.

O’Brien is also nominated for best presenter, alongside fellow comic Ed Petrie (for Ed and Oucho), Blue Peter’s Andy Akinwolere and Something Special’s Justin Fletcher.

The winners will be announced on November 30.
