Lads' mag hails its comedy heroes

Harry Enfield, Jimmy Carr and My Name Is Earl have all won comedy awards from Loaded magazine.

Enfield was named Loaded Legend for his lifetime’s achievement, while Carr was named best stand-up – the fifth time he’s won one of the Laftas.

He said: ‘They got me quite early, they supported me from early on, which is a nice thing and you do remember the people who are nice to you.’

Bo Selecta creator Leigh Francis was named funniest man and Gavin and Stacey's Ruth Jones won funniest woman

My Name Is Earl was named funniest TV show, In Bruges funniest film and Radio 1's Scott Mills funniest radio show.
