C4 spin-off planned
Peep Show writers Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain are said to be planning a spin-off – but this time about two female friends.According to The Sun, one idea is to expand the character of Dobby, the quirky office love interest of David Mitchell’s Mark character, who is played by stand-up Isy Suttie.
An unnamed Channel 4 insider told the paper: ‘There is a big demand from younger female viewers to do a show from their perspective.
‘One idea is to use the Dobby character and find an actress to play her best mate. The other is to find a new comedy duo.’
