IT Crowd writer seeks prop ideas

IT Crowd writer Graham Linehan is asking fans to suggest props for the next series of the Channel 4 sitcom.

Writing in his Why That’s Delightful! blog, Linehan said he didn’t have time to source the geeky junk that makes the main set look like ‘a cross between a comic shop and the Batcave’ – so was calling on viewers to help.

He said had intended the set to look like ‘a geek's Shangri-La’, adding: ‘In each series, I’ve felt we've nearly got there. Maybe this time, with you guys involved, we’ll finally nail it.’

Filming starts in three weeks, and producers have to secure legal permission to show the items on screen, so asked for suggestions to be emailed to ben.capel@talkbackthames.tv quickly.

He added that he was looking for ‘posters, comics, fanzines, T-shirts… anything you think is pretty cool or captures the spirit of the show or a particular character’.
