Baron Cohen's next movie project

Sacha Baron Cohen could be starring in a new comedy film about an ambulance-chasing personal injury lawyer.

The Ali G star is producing the movie Accidentes ‘with an eye to starring in it’, according to Hollywood trade journal variety.

The script will be written by Pete Baynham, who co-wrote the Borat movie and has previously worked with Armando Iannucci,Chris Morris and Lee & Herring.

If Baron Cohen stars, he will play a shady Latin-American lawyer who becomes a working-class hero when he helps an immigrant win a case against his wealthy employer.

The project has been picked up by Fox Atomic, but no timetable for producing or releasing the film has yet been set.

Baron Cohen has just finished shooting his Bruno movie, and has recently signed up to play Sherlock Holmes opposite Will Ferrell's Watson.
