Ankle injury stops performance
Catherine Tate’s new West End play was called off last night, after the comic injured her ankle.The actress was injured during the final dress rehearsal for Under the Blue Sky on Tuesday, and is now awaiting the results of an X-Ray.
A spokesman for the production said they ‘had every confidence’ Tate would return to the stage tonight.
Last night would have been the first public preview of the show, which also stars The IT Crowd’s Chris O’Dowd, which officially opens next Friday.
