A very good bill...

Comic hands out $100 notes

A stand-up gave away thousands of pounds in cash to a comedy club audience at the weekend.

Katt Williams took to the stage of the Los Angeles Laugh Factory on Sunday night with a briefcase stuffed full of $100 bills.

He then worked the audience, handing a note to everyone – costing him almost £15,000.

Club owner Jamie Masada said: ‘You should have seen it. Some people were crying. They came to see the show and they got $100.’

Williams is a rapper as well as a comedian. He has had his own HBO show The Pimp Chronicles and has hosted the annual Hip Hop Awards since 2006.
