Miranda's radio show moves to TV

Comedy actress Miranda Hart is to make her own TV show for BBC One.

A pilot TV version of her Radio 2 series Miranda Hart’s Joke Shop will be recorded in London next month.

The show features the socially awkward Hart trying to make conversation with the object of her desires, but always becoming tongue-tied, as her confidence is shot by the comments of her friends and the delivery man who mistakes her for a man.

Hart is one of the stars of Lee Mack’s BBC One sitcom Not Going Out and BBC Two’s Hyperdrive.
