Thank God... still struggles

2.7m for Merton's improv show

Paul Merton’s improv series Thank God You're Here has continued to struggle in the ratings, attracting just 2.7 million viewers to ITV1.

The figure is down 200,000 from its launch last week, and just over half the channel’s usual audience for the Saturday night slot, 5.2 million.

The programme is being shunted back to 10.05pm next week, because of a Harry Potter film in the afternoon, but it returns to its 9.30pm slot on February 2.

However, ITV1 did have some success earlier in the evening – thanks to Harry Hill.

His All New You've Been Framed attracted 5.3 million (27 per cent of the total audience) at 6pm, while and TV Burp won 6 million (28 per cent) immediately afterwards.
