FX buys American Dad
Series to premiere on digital
Digital channel FX has snapped up the next two series of animated comedy American Dad.The show, from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, will air on he import channel as part of its Thursday night comedy line-up before being seen on any other UK channel.
The third series, which started in the US in September, will air from January; while the fourth is currently in production.
FX has also brought the first-run rights to romantic sitcom Unhitched and the semi-improvised workplace comedy 10 Items Or Less; and will also air series four and five of Family Guy next year.
