'George' to guest in 'Elaine's' new sitcom
Former Seinfeld stars Jason Alexander and Julia Louis-Dreyfus are heading for an on-screen reunion, it was announced today.Alexander is to make a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of Louis-Dreyfus’s new sitcom, The New Adventures Of Old Christine.
The George Costanza actor will play a lizard handler for children's birthday parties – who winds up on a date with Christine.
Louis-Dreyfus has won critical acclaim, and a respectable average audience of 10.4 million, for her portrayal of a stressed, divorced mother, in the CBS comedy.
The show breaks the so-called Seinfeld curse, following the failures of The Michael Richards Show, Alexander's Bob Patterson and Listen Up and Louis-Dreyfus' Watching Ellie.
