Frankie Boyle is to host a topical comedy show, described as a Scottish version of The Daily Show.
The programme, provisionally titled The End Of The World SHow, will run over six weeks on BBC Scotland next spring.
Boyle told The Scotsman: It's supposed to be like The Daily Show, but it's far too harsh and gaggy for that.
And he said it would also feature a really generous interview where you get someone funny and let them talk about whatever they want.
In a pilot episode, the guest was Richard Herring, who he invited into a hot tub with two bikini-clad girls.
