Pryor's daughter launches legal action

One of Richard Pryor’s daughter has filed legal action to annul his marriage to his widow, Jennifer.

In the latest twist to hit Pryor’s convoluted and often turbulent family life, Elizabeth Pryor has taken the unique legal step of issuing papers saying that the comic’s final marriage should be annulled due to fraud.

Richard was married seven times to five women. He first married Jennifer in 1981, but they divorced after just 14 months. They remarried in 2001, by which time his multiple sclerosis had left him confined to a wheelchair, and they stayed together until his death in 2005

The papers were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, and according to American TV show Entertainment Tonight, Elizabeth is referred to as the "Successor-in-Interest to Richard Pryor

In a separate case, Elizabeth is also suing Jennifer over Richard's estate, claiming that her stepmother took advantage of her father's degenerating state for her own personal financial gain.
