Why not take All Of Me?

Latifah to remake Steve Martin classic

Steve Martin’s classic 1984 comedy All Of Me is to be remade as a vehicle for brash hip-hop star Queen Latifah.

The original script was about an heiress, played by Lily Tomlin, whose soul ends up in the body of a lawyer – each having control of one half of his body.

In the new version, Latifah will be a female liberal politician who finds herself in the body of a conservative. It is not yet known who will play the male lead.

Adam Shankman, who directed Latifah and Martin in 2003’s Bringing Down the House, will produce the film, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
