'We're talking about working together'
Stephen Fry wants to team up with Hugh Laurie for another TV show.He fears reviving their comic partnership may prove too difficult now Laurie is a major US star – but says they are always talking about possible new ideas.
Laurie is earning around £240,000 per episode of medical drama House, while Fry has several projects on the go, including new ITV1 series Kingdom.
The QI host told the Radio Times: ‘I would love to do TV or anything with Hugh but of course we’re both so busy with other things.
‘He’s over in the States for nine months doing House so maybe we can fix something up during the three months he’s over here. We are always talking about working together again.
‘He’s my best friend and I’m so proud of him.’
