Lee plays Dumb

Evans' latest West End role

Lee Evans is to star in Harold Pinter’s play The Dumb Waiter in London’s West End.

The comedian starts his run at the Trafalgar Studios on February 2, with official opening night on February 8.

The comic play is about two killers – described as Laurel and Hardy with silencers – waiting in an airless basement to discover the identity of their next hit.

Evans stars opposite Jason Isaacs, who played Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter, in this new production marking the play’s 50th anniversary.

Evans has previously appeared in West End shows Endgame and The Producers.

The Dumb Waiter will run to March 24 only.
