Simon Pegg, Dylan Moran and Simpsons star Hank Azaria are to star in a new comedy about the London Marathon.

The film, due out next year, is being directed by former Friends star David Schwimmer.

This movie centers on Dennis, played by Pegg, an overweight guy who decides he must finish a marathon to win back the girl he dumped at the altar five years earlier.

Moran plays his friend Gordon. ‘He puts a bet on Dennis completing the marathon, so he’s on at him throughout to do it,’ says he Black Books star.

The film has been shot in and around London and is now in post-production.
