Reeves to front pirate documentary
Vic Reeves is to present a six-part series on pirates for the History Channel.The comic has already started filming the hour-long programmes in Bristol, which has many historic links to piracy.
Reeves is a pirate history enthusiast, and chose it as his specialist subject when he appeared in Celebrity Mastermind four years ago.
The programme, due to air next year, is the latest move away from comedy for Reeves, who will be presenting the next series of Sky One’s Braniac: Science Abuse in the spring.
