New Statesman to tour again
Rik Mayall is to go on the road again with a second Alan B’Stard play.Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran have written a follow-up to the New Statesman show that toured earlier this year.
This next installment, called B’Stard’s Extremely Secret Weapon opens in Wimbledon, South London, on March 12 and will tour until mid-July.
The plot has the corrupt politician – now, as in the earlier tour, a New Labour MP – scheming to join the Trillionaire’s club of eight shadowy figures who control the world’s oil supply, with Condolleezza Rice as gatekeeper.
