Izzard lasts 24hrs on 24
Eddie Izzard has left the cast of hit drama 24 after just one day of filming.The comic had been lined up to play villain’s sidekick Darren McCarthy in the hit drama.
But the Fox network has now announced that he has been replaced by another British actor, David Hunt.
Izzard is also working on his own American TV series, The Riches, in which he plays a conman trying to go straight, alongside Minnie Driver. That show will air on the FX network.
