Brand plans kinky comedy club
Russell Brand is reportedly planning to open a kinky comedy venue based around the ideas of a sex club.
It would apparently include ‘love bed’ booths for punters and machines selling sex toys.
And the 31-year-old comic already has his eye on potential venues in Camden, north London.
An unnamed pal told the Daily Star’s DailySnack.com website: ‘It has been his dream to open to a Comedy Store-style club with a difference.
‘He knows that opening up a new comedy club can be a risky business and the competition will be fierce. That’s why he needs to make his place unique. He wants to make the atmosphere as informal as possible so people can really let their hair down.
‘He loves the thought of becoming a ‘silent’ business partner and is hoping to get a financial backer. He wants to snap up a property as soon as possible. It will be the talk of the town.’Published: 19 Sep 2006
