John Shuttleworth creator Graham Fellows has pulled out of the Edinburgh Fringe after being struck down by a mystery illness.

He has been introducing his new character, Goole-based concreter Dave Tordoff, at the Pleasance venue.

However, all of the remaining dates have been cancelled following the health scare.

His publicist said they didn’t know what was wrong, but that Fellows had ‘gone to get checked out’.

Anyone who has tickets for the remaining 13 nights of the run of the show, Neighbours From Hull, should contact the Pleasance box office for refunds.
