Camp as Christmas

See Little Britain for free

Little Britain is to record a Christmas special in London next month.

David Walliams and Matt Lucas will tape the show at BBC Television Centre, West London, on September 2.

Free tickets to the recording are due to be distributed this week, and demand is expected to be huge.

The BBC has set up a dedicated hotline for the recording to cope with the anticipated flood of inquiries. It is 020 8576 1227, and it will become active from 10am on Tuesday.

The corporation said: ‘Tickets are in very high demand and requests will be limited to four tickets per person. Lines will be very busy, but please keep calling.’

It could be the last chance to see the duo’s characters, as the third series of Little Britain has been widely rumoured to be the last.

However, Lucas has always denied the speculation. He  has said:' You may have heard there will be no more Little Britain after this series. We never said that! We would love to carry it on, so hopefully this is not the last.'
