Daniel triumphs at Chortle Awards

Daniel Kitson has swept the board at the Chortle Awards, winning a total of four accolades.

He was named both People’s Choice and Comics’ Comic, as well as taking home the prizes for best headliner and best full-length show, for his 2005 Edinburgh offering.

Stewart Lee, who was also in the running for best headliner and show, was awarded with the first award for outstanding contribution to comedy.

Justin Edwards won the character, sketch and variety award for the second time for his dypsomanic children's entertainer, Jeremy Lion
