Chris 'heading for the UK'

Chris Rock could be coming to England.

The comedian has revealed  that he is planning to become the latest Hollywood star to take to the West End stage.

Playwright Neil LaBute, is planning a new production in London with Rock, who he directed in the 2000 film Nurse Betty, in the lead role.

Rock told ContactMusic.com: ‘I'm coming to Britain lock, stock and smoking barrels.

 ‘I had a great time working with Neil LaBute on Nurse Betty and so I'm going to do this play of his in London.’

Labute’s most recent work, Fat Pig, about a romance involving an overweight woman, was performed in Washington in January.
