What would David do?

Carr gets acting tips from Little Britain star

Jimmy Carr has been getting acting tips from David Walliams.

The comic called up the Little Britain star for advice on making his acting debut as an MI6 spy in the £25million film Stormbreaker.

Carr told The Sun Online: ‘On the first day of filming I was really nervous and phoned up David.

‘He went to drama school for years, is massively talented, and his big tip was just 'listen.'

‘He told me not to think about my lines and just concentrate on what the other actors were saying and react - it worked pretty well.

‘I loved doing it but I’ve just got no range. I can play a slightly podgy, middle-class boy quite well but nothing else.

‘When the James Bond role came up recently I was on some internet list of possible actors - at odds of about a billion-to-one.’
