Figures of fun

Comedy stars become dolls

Characters from Little Britain and the Carry On movies are to be made into foot-high talking dolls.

Kenneth Williams will be the first of the films’ stars to be immortalised in plastic.

The £30 figure depicts him as he appeared in Carry On Cleo, and repeats such genuine dialogue from the film as: ‘Infamy, infamy. They’ve all got it in for me.’

The figure will be released next month and will be followed by Sid James from Carry On Up The Khyber, right, Charles Hawtry from Carry On Camping and Barbara Windsor from Carry On Again Doctor.

Meanwhile, Little Britain’s Vicky Pollard, Daffyd and Emily Howard are also being made into dolls, priced £20 each. And there’s a Lou and Andy double for £33 – all of which will repeat catchphrases from the show.

And there will also be talking mugs of the same characters, plus Marjorie Dawes, as well as a number of keyrings.
