Cohen lands racing driver role
Sacha Baron Cohen has landed a role in the next Will Ferrell movie.
The Ali G star will play a gay French Formula One driver in the comedy film, set around the world of NASCAR racing.
Cohen will play Jean Girard, who comes to America to defeat Ferrell’s world champion Ricky Bobby in the untitled film, according to trade paper The Hollywood Reporter.
Production is scheduled to begin next month, ready for a summer 2006 release date in the States.
