UKTV Gold plans laugh marathon
Digital channel UKTV Gold is to dedicate its schedules to comedy for a month.
And it has commissioned a series, The Golden Rules Of Comedy, to tie up its programming of classic shows.
Jo Brand will host the shows, which will feature interviews with comics and celebrities putting such series as Fawlty Towers, The Office and The Fast Show into context.
A total of five hours of new programming have been commissioned from At It Productions, and the themed schedule will run from June 6.
