Stand-up Des Clarke has been named one of Brtain's most eligible bachelors.

The former Chortle award-winner, who also hosted kids' TV show SM:TV, has made the top 50 in the list compiled by Company magazine

In a profile in the latest issue, the 23-year-old comic says his best quality is being "a ball of energy" and said his worst is being "an impatient perfectionist".

Clarke, who's also a DJ on Glasgow's Beat 106, added that the most romantic thing he has ever done was to write love poems, and says he receives compliments from women for his long eyelashes.
