Vegas ad rapped

Safety experts fear copycat deaths

Safety campaigners have criticised a TV advert showing Johnny Vegas.

The BBC trailer is one of a series advertising comedy on Radio 4, with the slogan "comedy in unexpected places".

But the Royal Society for the Prevenion Of Accidents fear it could encourage children to copy his stunt.

Several children have died while using dumped fridges and freezers as pretend cars or houses.

The BBC has now agreed to screen the ads only after an 8pm watershed.
