Ross takes Loaded's comedy crown

Ross Noble has been named as best stand-up in new comedy awards set up by lads' mag Loaded.

Channel 4's Bo' Selecta! Won the Lafta award for funniest show on TV, and frontman Avid Merrion was declared funniest man of the year.

Radio 1's new breakfast show host Chris Moyles took the honours for funniest radio programme, with Ant and Dec best comedy duo and Leslie Phillips Laftas' Icon 2003.

The winners collected their awards at a party in London last night, attended by the likes of Jordan, Gail Porter and Neil and Christine Hamilton.

Noble's stand-up award was sponsored by Jongleurs - although he has barely played any of their chain of clubs.
