Barschak off the hook

Police drop Comedy Terrorist's charges

Comedy terrorist Aaron Barschak will not face any criminal charges after gatecrashing Prince William's 21st birthday party.

Scotland Yard today announced that they will be taking no further action over the security breach last month.

Barschak, 37, leapt three castle walls before persuading a contractor to show him to the party, even though he was dressed as Osama bin Laden.

The Met say they have decided to drop any charges following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service.

Barschak, who has now been released from his bail conditions, is said to be shocked and surprised by the announcement.

Assistant Commissioner David Veness has previously described the security breach as "appalling" - and a high-level inquiry is under way to prevent it happening again.
