Smith to host Glastonbury comedy show

Comedy highlights from the Glastonbury festival are to be broadcast on Radio 4.

Arthur Smith is heading to Worthy Farm later this month to present two round-ups from the comedy tent.

Bill Bailey, Ross Noble, Boothby Graffoe, Stewart Lee and Phil Kay are among those on the bill at the festival, from June 27 to 29.

Smith said: "I've never been to Glastonbury, but from what I can make out it's very like Glyndeboune because you've got loyal music lovers who go there every year, it's outdoors, people dress up, get out of it and have sex with inappropriate people."

4 in a Field: Radio 4 at Glastonbury will air on Tuesdays July 1 and 8 at 11pm.
