Morris plans C4 comeback

New show for 2004

Chris Morris is set to return to Channel 4 next year, according to the Guardian.

Details of his new show have not been revealed, but director of programmes Tim Gardam has confirmed that he is in talks with the controversial satirist.

Any new venture would be his first since the notorious 2001 Brass Eye special on paedophilia, which became the most complained-about programme in TV history.

Morris has previously said he would not make any more Brass Eye shows, for fear of it becoming "depressingly routine."

Following the controversy, Gardam said: "We are proud of Brass Eye and the fact someone of the satiric perceptiveness of Chris Morris chooses television as his medium."
