Paramount to air Murray's sitcom

Paramount Comedy Channel is to screen Al Murray's sitcom Time Gentlemen Please.

The pub-based comedy will be rerun on Mondays to Thursdays at 11pm from April 7.

The 22-episode first series, which Murray co-wrote with Richard Herring, also stars Phil Daniels, Julia Sawalha and Rebecca Front.

It was originally shown on Sky One in 2000, and was made by the production arm of Murray's management company, Avalon.

At its peak, it was watched by nine per cent of the TV audience, a respectable figure for a Sky One show.
