The ultimate answer?

42 comics in new stand-up show

BBC Three launches its new stand-up show Brain Candy tomorrow.

A total of 42 comics will feature in series, which has been created by Steve Coogan and Henry Normal.

Each of the 14 quarter-hour shows has a specific theme, with the comics performing their material straight to camera in and around London.

Fatboy Slim provides the soundtrack while Tim Surle, who created George Michael's latest controversial video, provides animations.

The show continues the reinvention of stand-up on TV, following the success of BBC2's Live Floor Show.

Comics taking part include: Alex Boardman, Addy Borgh, Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, Hal Cruttenden, Clare Cambpell, Dan Evans, Simon Evans, Paul Foot, Jason Freeman, Trevor Lock, Josie Long, Angie McEvoy, Susan Murray, Lucy Porter, (pictured), Lewis Schaffer, Jason John Whitehead, Gina Yashere and Alex Zane.

The show goes out at 10.30pm on BBC Three.
