Knowing me, Alan Partridge

Coogan back for spoof profile

Steve Coogan is making a new Alan Partridge show for TV.

He is reviving his inept Radio Norwich DJ for a spoof documentary profile on BBC2 this Easter.

The comic told The People: "It will be a look back at Alan's career in a South Bank-style way."

Partridge was expected to be retired following his last series of I'm Alan Partridge - which itself came after five-year break.

Coogan has just signed up to play Phileas Fogg in a new Hollywood version of Around The World In Eighty Days.
