Comic's dictator puppet is stolen

Saddam Hussein has been abducted from the set of BBC2's new stand-up show

Someone made off with a puppet of the Iraqi leader belonging to Dara O'Briain, pictured, from the studios where the Live Floor Show is recorded.

Producers put up wanted posters around BBC Glasgow with a £20 price on Saddam's head - but he was not returned.

A replacement was knocked up, but MediaGuardian says his beard looks more like that of the show's guest, Craig David.

Live Floor Show goes out on BBC2 at 10.35pm on Saturday. Rich Hall is tonight's other guest.
